One of the most beautiful and exotic tasting wines I have had in a long time is the Mis Cuentas Claras Cloud. It is a grape grown in Chile and is one of the best of this region. This wine was a little over-priced when I first saw it on the shelf at my favorite supermarket, but then I realized I have seen all of these types of wine at great prices at the vineyards and wineries in Chile so I went and got the bottle and discovered all about this wine.
This is a very dry and cloudy type of wine that comes from the high mountains of Chile. This wine is dry and fruity and has a slight tingling sensation when you taste it. The nose is a little bit sweet and fruity with some notes of chocolate and vanilla and even a little citrus. The palate is smooth and very fruity as well as being dry. The finish is really long and the flavors of blackberry, vanilla, and licorice are very prominent.
As for the color of this wine, it is dark brown which is why it is called Mis Cuentas Claras Cloud. The color of this wine really comes out in the glass. When you drink this wine, you can feel that it is very dry and fruity as well as being very smooth. There is no roughness to the taste, which is why it is called Smooth. There are other colors that are just as good as this wine and are even more expensive like red and black. However, this wine really stands out in its own category and is not one that you will want to miss out on.
